We are so excited to announce that we are getting the “Big Band” back together for a show at the Garages on Friday, May 6 at 8PM. Winners of two Muddy Awards for Performance of the Year, the band consists of some of greatest talent in the area and beyond. This show will feature 2015 Blues Music Award Winning drummer Jimi Bott (Fabulous Thunderbirds, Mannish Boys, Rod Piazza), Allen Markel (Sugaray Rayford, The Insomniacs) – bass, and Steve Kerin – keys (Rose City Kings, Too Loose Cajun Band), Chris Mercer – tenor sax (John Mayall, Freddie King, Bob Marley); Joe McCarthy – trumpet (DK Stewart, Duffy Bishop); Brad Ulrich – baritone sax (Duffy Bishop) and Kevin Selfe – guitar, vocals.
At The Garages is a big beautiful venue space with pro sound and lights, big dancefloor, and great food. It is truly one of the nicest room around!
